Skills for HypnoBirthing

If you are interested in applying the HypnoBirthing principles to your birthing experience but aren’t sure if you want to commit to the whole course, think about doing a four hour Skills for HypnoBirthing course with me.

Skills for HypnoBirthing is my newest teaching format and I’m pretty excited about it.  I think it is a perfect add-on for mums or couples who have taken, for example, a National Childbirth Trust or NHS antenatal course and would like to deepen their knowledge of natural techniques.

It is not the full-blown HypnoBirthing course but instead you will be drawing on ALL my experience and training not just as a HypnoBirthing practitioner but also as a birth and postnatal doula, hypnotherapist and antenatal teacher in two intensive two-hour sessions.

You will learn the following techniques to make your labour, birth AND the years which follow more easy, pleasant and relaxed:

Breathing, relaxation, use of affirmations, self-hypnosis, visualisation, movement and positions for labour and birth, birth companion’s basic skills.

You will be able to focus in depth on how you personally can maximise your chances of a normal, straightforward birth and learn some of the secrets of safe, natural birthing – giving you and your baby a better start all round.

It helps if you’ve read the HypnoBirthing book in advance – I can provide it.

I can also supply you with a BirthEase birthing ball and pump - very quick and easy to blow up and deflate!
